The results are starting to trickle in for October. It's not going to be pretty. The Tiguan notched up 1,856 sales. I have yet to see a Tiguan actually driving around anywhere. Who's buying them and where do they live?
Funny you mention the Tig's and where they are. I've been thinking the same thing. Living in West LA I figured they'd be cropping out of every drive way by now. If I'd have to guess you'd need to be driving on a college campus or suburban east coast community to see where all the Tig's have gone.
The Tiguan is certainly propping up VW's sales numbers: without those Tig sales they'd be down 18.7% instead of 7.9%. Either way, VW took less of a pounding than most in October.
