Jazzed about the Fit?
Well, the Honda marketing machine is starting to collect the web equivalent of interest cards on the Fit. I had a chance to drive a Fit while in London and was pretty impressed with the car, especially the trick folding rear seat that creates a completely flat load floor. Unlike other cars, the bottom seat cushion flips up and when the rear seat back folds forward it's to the level of the cargo floor. It happened so smoothly that I didn't even notice until I studied it further. The Fit/Jazz has been out for some time, so there was some wishful thinking that the US would be getting the second generation model. However in spite of Honda's claim that "there will be a few surprises for those expecting the steering wheel to simply move to the left" I don't think we're getting a brand new model. This car will be going directly against the Chevy Aveo, Toyota Yaris, and the Nissan Versa to mention a few names. For more info click here.
