Oh Snap! My Tailgate's Busted
GM is recalling 900,000 (this Automotive News story pegs the number closer to 800,000) pickup trucks to replace corroded tailgate cables. The cables were covered in a plastic sheath which may have looked better on the lot, but ended up trapping water and corroding--just like a plastic bed liner, hmm.
