Ford Super Duty Espionage
There is quite the story behind this Super Duty photo shoot. A family takes a picture of a camouflaged truck, they decide to get another photo and a chase ensues. It seems that the Ford engineer gets a bit cranky.
I remember a story that Brenda Priddy told. Some engineers, she didn’t say which company, start throwing rocks at her son who is taking pictures of their cars. Brenda gets pissed off and calls around to get an official apology.
There are many other stories of people getting chased/accosted when photographing test vehicles. Most of the time there is no incident, but it takes just one angry encounter to ruin the fun. I would say that being discreet and not going back to insist on the ultimate shot are good things to keep in mind. The little chase that is described in the link below could have easily resulted in a car accident or worse someone getting hurt.
All the same, it makes for some entertaining reading. You can check out the full detail and view a couple of other photos by clicking here.
