Honda CR-V, Fit, and Accord Renderings

Here are a few drawings to gander at. The CR-V picture looks to be quite plausible. I don’t know about the Fit or Accord drawings as I haven’t seen any spy shots to back them up. As an added bonus, I've thrown in a spy shot of the CR-V. It’s all in good fun . You can check out the TOV post by clicking here.

SORRY HONDA!!!!! Looks like your main target was the Toyota Matrix on this one! Also, the new Acura RD-X closely resembles the Pontiac Vibe! Both are just a little bigger in size over the Toyota based twins! The new 2007 CR-V only has 5 inches of ground clearance! Now that they lowered the ground clearance by over 3 inches from the 2006 CR-V, thousands of potential customers a month in rural and snowbelt areas will be forced to flock to other more capable name plates to get them through the rough elements of dirt back roads and other extreme conditions mother earth dishes out! A small 4 wheel drive 'WAGON' like the Toyota Matrix or the Pontiac Vibe just does not cut it in these areas, because of their low ground clearance! I was able to cross a flooded road in New Hampshire over a week ago with my 2005 CR-V Because of it's 8.1 inches of ground clearance and the new 16 inch tires and rims it has, while other vehicles had to seek alternate routes! HONDA, why not put ground effects on the lower rocker panels and low profile tires on the 2007 CR-V like a Scion x-B and try to drive through snow without getting hung up??? Just ask anyone who owns the x-B to hear the horror stories they have to tell of their experiences! CR-V's have had 8.1 inches of ground clearance from day one!!! That's more ground clearance than the Honda Pilot or the Honda Element!!! That's what made them so popular in the first place!!! To prove my point, Subaru just increased the ground clearance of the Forester this year because they relised they were loosing sales to CR-V customers!! Looks like Honda can add the CR-V to the slow selling list of the Element now!! Just ask any Honda Dealer and they will tell you that the Element is the slowest selling model on their lots, due to it's looks and low ground clearance!!! Perhaps Honda will learn from this mistake and increase the ground clearance on the 2nd generation Element and make it look more like the 2nd generation CR-V when it arrives in a few years!!! We can only wait, hope and keep our fingers crossed in the meantime!!!

Looks like the Subaru B-9 Tribeca has finally met it's match!!!! It just goes to show that it took an American Company like Pontiac to get the ball rolling!!! The Aztec was way ahead of it's time and now the Japanese are finally catching up to the Strange, Crude and Funky Style of an American Icon!!! Honda has a real delema on their hands, which crossover model will now stay the longest on dealer lots??? The Element or the 2007 CR-V??? They are now taking bets if anyone wants to get in on the deal!
