Mark Fields, tapped to lead the restructuring of Ford's North American operations, is looking to up the Americana quotient in the styling department. This new mandate may delay some of Ford's products by a couple of years.
After last week's quote in Automotive News that made it seem that Mitsubishi may leave the US market if sales don't pick up, new statements have been made my Mitsubishi executives that make it quite clear that Mitsu has no intent on leaving the USA.
Last week we discussed the fact the Ford may delay it's Super Duty pickups in order to get all the bugs worked out. This week Automotive News goes into more detail on the piezo electric fuel injection system that the new trucks will have.
