Another world’s first was achieved in 2005, when HCC developed the high-efficiency, low-noise cooling fan module, which integrates a Wave Blade Fan and Sawtooth-type Shroud, thereby paving the way for an evolution in engine-cooling systems. As compared to dual fans, the single fan achieved a weight reduction of about 25%, thereby helping to boost fuel efficiency and engine performance. The cooling fan module enables maximum airflow to dissipate the heat generated by the engine radiator and condenser. Demand for low-noise cooling systems, a primary source of engine noise, has increased dramatically as ever-more consumers expect a more pleasant and comfortable driving experience.
