Camry Wins Motor Trend's Car of the Year

In the words of MT's Editor in Chief Angus MacKenzie "The Camry is the one car rival automakers all wish they could build. It offers something for nearly everyone — performance, efficiency and roominess — at a price point most Americans can afford."

I have to admit that the latest Camry is a bolder, more appealing design. I really don't mind seeing them on road. As for COTY I can't really say as I haven't spent much time with all the competitors.

The first time winner Camry beat out vehicles such as the Chrysler Sebring, Saturn Aura, Nissan Altima, Kia Rondo, Honda Fit, Mercedes-Benz S Class, Volvo C70 T5 and the Volkswagen Rabbit.
