The Nissan Cube is Coming to the USA

Yeah, it's true that it was pretty much assured the USA would get the next generation model, but in the latest Autoline Detroit episode it's all but confirmed. I remember when Nissan showed the current Cube at the LA Auto show to assess customer preference. The Cube was set off to the side and a lot of people were rather quizzical about it. The xB had not yet arrived and folks really didn't know what these small boxes were quite yet.

Fast forward to 2007 and we all know the score. Scion had a huge hit with the xB and looks to carry that success forward with the 2.0 version. Nissan hopes to get a piece of the pie and if the next generation Cube keeps it quirky enough they just might succeed.
