With regards specifically to the Pacifica, Press responded
Breaking away from the interview and continuing to talk about the Pacifica. Does something like the Dodge Journey provide sufficient coverage in the market? My own opinion is that no, Chrysler will need to field something else in addition to the Journey. Will that something else be called Pacifica or have a new name? Hard to say.

“The world is changing, especially with regard to the environment and powertrains,” he said. “So we’ve been looking at and will continue to look at our product line to see where we’ve got some duplication, where the same products are serving the same customers. We’ve got other products where we don’t have coverage, and we’ll be adjusting our portfolio of vehicles over time.”

"I like the Pacifica quite a bit...Crossover SUVs are very important. Obviously we're not going to abandon that segment."
