Pontiac Dishes Up G8 Pricing, Microsite

Another car that was on my wish list for Detroit was the Pontiac G8. I'm not so big on the nostrils in the hood, but given GM's experience on with the GTO I can understand why they think they might be necessary. Anyway, this car looks set to rock our world early next year. What we found out today is that the sticker for the base car will start at $27,595 and the GT model will command $29,995. Nice!

Looking at the "build a bear" section of the G8 microsite, there are two option packages on the GT: the premium packages that serves up leather, power seats, rear center armrest (that's an option?) and heated seats. The sport package adds such swag as 19" rims, sport pedals and sport steering wheel. On the base model there is a comfort and sound package that adds dual zone climate and upgraded stereo equipment. Stand alones so far seem to be limited to a power sunroof on both models and 19" rims on the GT.

You can visit the G8 site here.
