It was only in the middle of October when I sliced my finger and ended up in the ER. Now I've managed to snap my thumb so far back that it ruptured the volar plate. Basically, my thumb can now be bent back to disturbing levels. There was some other tendon damage, so in order to keep everything in place while I heal, I'm now in a soft cast. Doh!
