Rebates Galore in Store for Chrysler

The WSJ is reporting that Chrysler will launch a new round of rebates starting on November 20. Chrysler is hoping to clear its dealers' decks in preparation for what is anticipated to be a rough year. Chrysler's official line is that "We don't give advance notice of incentive programs." However in a video reviewed by the Journal, Deborah Wahl Meyer, Chrysler's chief marketing officer, is quoted as saying "It's going to be a critical time for all of us, and if we do it well and we help you drive the momentum, we'll be able to have a clean beginning for 2008." Cha-ching!

Hold still while I get that lipstick on yah piggy. Okay, Chrysler's lineup isn't all bad, but it isn't great either.
