Saturns From Germany?

Okay, so we all know that Saturn and Opel will have a strong kinship going forward. We also know that the Astra will be imported for the time being from Belgium. In this Ventura County Star article about GM importing/exporting cars from the Port of Hueneme what's this I spy about the importation of 10,000 Saturns from Germany? The article does mention the Astra as being one of the vehicles, but clearly states that the Astra is built in Belgium (photo caption), so the writer isn't confusing those cars with German built cars. Right? The Port of Antwerp is Belgium's biggest port, so Astras would probably be shipped from there?

My theory? Glad you asked. Perhaps they are referring to the Vectra wagon that will be assembled in Ruesselsheim, Germany and is supposedly going to be making its way here?

It's your call on the significance of this story, but this is the best I can do for you on a Friday night. As for the picture, I was going to post a Saturn logo but this story needed something a little spicier.
