Passat Coupe Spyshot

Volkswagen is going to dip its toes in the "four door coupe" market with this Passat model. Aspiring to be a lower cost Mercedes CLS, this attempt at fielding a luxurious vehicle will probably fare much better here in the USA than the ill conceived (for the US market) Phaeton. Of course, this Passat won't sell for anywhere near Phaeton money, but its slick shape certainly will allow it to command a premium over the sedan. I like the look of the CLS and judging by this photo, I like the VW as well. You can check out other photos at AutoExpress. The production model should debut at the Geneva show in March of '08, so we won't have to wait much longer to see the real deal.
