I apologize for my long absence from posting anything on this blog. The adjustment period here at headquarters with our new little one has taken a bit, but I think we're finally getting back into somewhat of a groove (jinx? I hope not!). I just started back at my "day job" and with that some of the old routines are coming back to me. Please stay tuned as things should be back in order in March.
In the meantime, I did "orphan" my smart car. I felt absolutely horrible about it at first, b/c I longed for that car for ages, but it just didn't feel right. I might revisit the smart situation in a year or two once some more bills have been paid.
While saying farewell to smart, I have begun my quest for a minivan replacement. The '04 Odyssey's lease is up and I'll either have to buy her out at an inflated residual value or move on to something else. I'm looking at perhaps picking up another Ody, this time with all the bells and whistles, but I haven't quite made up my mind yet. Again, it comes down to cost. My '04, even at the crazy price that it is, would be miles and miles cheaper than a new "loaded" model. I'll keep y'all posted on my progress.
So...that's where I am in life. Thanks for continuing to check in now and then. See you soon!
Mick!
