Das Diesel, But Sean Fanning?

So you're about to introduce a very affordable, 50 state legal diesel and what do you do? Well, how about a "Sprockets-like" talk show where a VW Beetle interviews Sean Fanning of Napster fame.

No, that would be ridiculous, right?

Apparently the folks handling the VW account seem to think it's a very clever way to re-introduce its diesel engines back into the land of $4+ diesel.

Not the path I would have chosen. But then again I'm sitting on a formula splattered leather sofa watching 30 Rock on a PC b/c I'm too cheap to pay for cable anymore. I'd take the opportunity to educate folks about clean diesels and the great mileage and extended driving range they offer.

BTW, this post took an hour and half of work. It is easier to have your own baby than to take a screen capture of Windows Media images due to hardware acceleration/overlays. Mad props to the folks over at Hyperionics, creators of the very fine Hyper Snap, which actually allows you to just snap away. Wow. So simple. Well worth your $35 if you're in need.


On a side note, is that Lenny Kravitz's drummer Cindy Blackman?
