Here is the first official picture of the production Soul. Rather pretty, isn't it? Jumping into the fray and in search of Scion xB customers, I think it will do just fine. The Scion took a terrible twist with its second generation here in the USA, almost becoming a "Vegas Elvis" of its former self. The Soul was championed by Kia's CEO Len Hunt. Championed that was, until Len was was fitted with cement shoes and forced to walk the plank with Ian Beaivs who was president of marketing. While at Volkswagen, Hunt pushed to bring the 5 door GTI here to the states. As you might imagine, I think Len is a pretty cool guy. We'll see the Soul again at the Paris show in October. When we will see Len Hunt again? I'm not so sure.
