The company's executives describe Ridemakerz as "Build a Bear for Cars" and that is a pretty fair explanation. Instead of dressing up a stuffed animal, you get to play around with a toy car. Certainly seems more entertaining to me. Chip Foose is on board as an adviser to help guide the company's products. I played around on the Ridemakerz website and the base vehicle runs around $25 to $30. Out the door with taxes, title and license you'll be between $50 and $100.
That's some semi-serious coin for a toy car, but on par with similar experiences. I'll leave it to you to make a decision on its value. There aren't that many Ridemakerz outlets yet. For example, there are none on the West Coast. You can check out the company by clicking here.
