Front the front this thing is ugly. Oy! What an ugly mug! From the back it looks like a Lexus. Not too bad. But those side picks make this look like a sports wagon. Overall it will sell but when Toyota redesigns the front end it then will be pretty.
Yeah, this car almost took out my foot. I waited in line for the debut at the Detroit show and then sat at the end of the aisle. Toyota drove the car from the back of the room to the front stage as a surprise of sorts. I leaned backwards to snap some shots and wasn't paying attention where my feet were. It wasn't some slow roll either, he was moving along. I'm just not clear where this car is going to fit in. It comes with a fairly high level of standard equipment such as 19" rims. I've spoken with several Toyota sales reps about the car and they are a bit dubious about how well this vehicle will do. If gas prices keep it up, then the 4 cylinder might be a popular configuration.
