Update: The finalists for the "Kiss My Astra" contest can be viewed at www.saturnkissmyastra.com, and visitors to the site can vote for their favorite Astra-kissing photo. The photo with the most votes will win the Grand Prize – a new Saturn Astra. The next five runner-ups will win $300 gift cards, and the remaining finalists receive $100 gift cards. Voting ends on September 28. Everyone who votes in the contest can also take the “So, You Think You Are a Smart Astra?” quiz. Correctly answer three of the five questions about the Saturn Astra to get entered in a sweepstakes for a chance to win a $500 gift card.

When I talked about ways to boost the awareness of Saturn's Astra, I hadn't imagined the slogan "Kiss My Astra." Actually it's a pretty clever little ditty if I don't say so myself. You can click the above link to find out more, but basically Saturn is offering 16 contestants the opportunity to prove just how much they love Jon Bon Jovi, by kissing the Saturn Astra. Contestants who compete in the car-kissing marathon will compete for a chance to win backstage passes to a Bon Jovi concert, and will help raise awareness for Habitat for Humanity projects in the Detroit area.
Of course, whenever I think of Bon Jovi, I think of Triumph...

JBJ is a huge Saturn fan, and of course, Saturn is sponsoring his concerts and his charities. Just check out the Lost Highways video.
I dislike the slogan. (HIGHLY DISLIKE.) I wish i had the power to discontinue it. lol.
I think it's a 'crude attempt to capture attention.'
