Chrysler: Sales Are So Overrated, But If You Must Know Our Numbers Were Down a Little

Total June sales reflect a continued contraction of the market, especially of pickup trucks and SUVs, continued reductions in fleet sales, and increases in Chrysler’s newest highly fuel-efficient vehicles. The only thing more out of style than Chrysler's current lineup is perhaps this shaggy goat coat. We all knew that Chrysler was going to crater, so no real shock today. Let's focus on the positives: The Jeep Patriot posted sales for June of 4,889 units, up 6 percent compared with June 2007 sales of 4,633 units. Interestingly both of the Patriot's sisters, the Caliber and Compass, were down. The Town & Country and Grand Caravan were also up. What else can be said?
