China set to unveil high-speed train for Games - Beijing Games- msnbc.com
As interest in passenger rail continues to build here in the U.S., we have news of the a new rail service starting up in China that will cut down a 90 minute journey to somewhere around 30 minutes and it only took $2.93 billion :-)
ACATT world headquarters is currently awash in trains thanks to my son's interest in Thomas the Tank Engine. However, I'd sure fall for a train that could take my family from San Francisco to Los Angeles or in the opposite direction to Eugene while going at a clip of 220 MPH.
