VW Newsroom: VOLKSWAGEN REPORTS JUNE 2008 SALES
"Volkswagen of America, Inc. today announced June 2008 sales of 23,208 units, a 0.3 percent increase over the June 2007 sales of 23,137 vehicles. On a year-to-date basis, 2008 Volkswagen sales remain 0.6 percent ahead of 2007 sales through June. June reflects Volkswagen’s best sales month since August 2006. The Passat wagon had its best sales month since January 2007 with sales up 25.9 percent over June 2007. Volkswagen’s innovative coupe-convertible-sunroof Eos continues to be a summertime top-seller with sales of 1,632 unites, up 14 percent over last June."
Any ray of sunshine in June's sales numbers has to be regarded as a good thing. Congrats to the Passat wagon on an excellent sales month. When a wagon wins, we all win even if it is only 142 extra units.

That's really interesting. I'm glad to see that the Tiguan is selling so well! I've been working with VW to spead the word on it and maybe that means we've been doing our jobs.
