smart usa Updating Build & Price For 2009?

8/28 Update: Okay, the 2009 configurator is up and running. I'd take those prices with a grain of salt as they may change soon. Plan on some sort of a price increase for MY 2009.


Update: Site is back and it's the same. Next target for the 2009 update is 8/25.

Update: Looks like this might be a server issue. The 2009 updates may appear on 8/25. However, in the meantime check out this thread with some 2009 news. Cargo nets on the doors, two new color, revised info display with "gas cap loose" warning, solid roof option for the passion model and the promise of a few additional options. Oh, and undoubtedly a price hike.

I've been waiting for some time for the smart usa website to update its "Build Your fortwo" configurator for MY2009. Tonight while checking things out, I noticed that there are no models shown and you get an error page. Known changes for 2009 include a deeper red color and yellow being swapped for grey.

This could very well be a server issue and not the 2009 update, but we can hope! You can check here to see if the site has returned.
