3M Gone Car Crazy? Set to Buy Meguiar's Inc

I guess that 3M has saved enough pennies by carjacking other people's ideas without fair compensation so that it is able to buy whole businesses :-) I could wax poetically about Meguiar's cleaner wax, one of my favorite car car products on the market. Now comes news that 3M is going to buy the 100-year-old family business to expand its auto care lineup.

In a quote from 3M's press release, Barry Meguiar, president and CEO, Meguiar's Inc said "Combining with 3M will greatly enhance our ability to serve and support Car Crazy people on a global basis. We are excited about the opportunity to grow our business by joining forces with one of the world's great global companies--working together to increase our support of the car hobby worldwide."

You might be familiar with Barry Meguiar from his SPEED Channel show or the fact that he may or may not axe employees for not being "On fire for Jesus." Either way, Barry and his family are going to "clean up" on this this sale!
