Graphic results from a pothole impact gone horribly wrong. Smart Car of America forum member Mcmarathoner posted this picture and stated that the estimated 10 MPH impact not only destroyed the wheel but also broke a headlight from its mounting. I have read of other smart owners having seemingly minor impacts break a mounting point on the headlight assembly, so there might be a weak point in the design.
