I've seen a 2009 Maxima on the road and it certainly is a "unique" design. A few of my buddies have owned previous generations of the Maxima and loved them. Over the years, however, it seems to me that the Nissan has squeezed the Maxima into a very small space between the Altima on the lower end and the Infiniti G on the top end. The Altima is a very capable, good looking FWD sedan and the G is a shapely, RWD/AWD offering. How relevant is the Maxima anymore?
