Here is more info on the U.S. BRABUS edition of smart fortwo. For comparison the regular 2009 Passions delivered after 1/1/09 run $13,990, Passion Cabrios go for $16,990. Keep in mind that standard items on the BRABUS such as heated leather seats and additional instruments are extra cost on the standard models. If you price out how much all the goodies cost, such as the BRABUS "Monoblock VI" (on eBay for $2500 bucks) then the added $4 grand in cost isn't such a huge bump. However, if you were hoping for the turbo motor, well you'll just have to keeping waiting. Your color choices are limited to Black/Black and Silver/Silver. Invitations to reserve a BRABUS model went out to reservations holders already. We'll get more details at the LA Auto Show.
