I consider the current Astra to be a looker and the new model will only improve upon things. Will we ever see it in the states? Hard to say, but in the hatch configuration I'd have to wager "No." If Saturn continues on, then more than likely our market would eventually see an Astra sedan, perhaps manufactured in Mexico. It's regrettable that the current Astra hasn't sold in larger numbers. I still wager that if you simply plucked that car off of Saturn lots and plunked it down at Chevrolet dealers, you'd see a very nice sales bump.
