When it was announced that Fiat and Chrysler were thinking about shacking up, I wondered what would happen to Nissan's relationship with the Pentastar. I mean, you think about a having a three-way, but it rarely works out.
Not only has the Nissan based, B-segment car that Chrysler had planned to sell in the U.S. been put on the back burner, but so has a Nissan pickup based off the Dodge Ram. That last bit caught me a bit off guard as I thought the pickup tie-up still made sense.
It's not completely over, technically the projects are "paused" until they can bring down costs.
