The Maryland State Highway Administration has announced plans to cut back on its mowing activities by approximately 10 percent. Not only will this save money, but Maryland also claims this will also result in “Improved air quality with a decrease in carbon-fuel emissions created by gas-powered mowers.” I applaud the creative thinking by the Maryland team. I would like to retain their services the next time my wife asks me to do something on the house.
