Whether it's a just-in-time transportation company, that also hauls around surgical teams or a tire worker inspiring her husband to start the hand sanitizer company Gojo Industries, auto manufacturers have played their part in helping advancements that make the world a better place. A feel good article for anyone feeling a little kicked around. Of course, the lesson of the story is that if the auto industry suffers long-term hardship, future innovation could be stifled.
