San Francisco: Test drive the Ford Fiesta before everybody else

Jason says "Hey, How you doin?"

If you have any interest in peppy small cars, then you'll want to head on down to 19th and Harrison today (Saturday) and Sunday to check out the Ford Fiesta. This is actually a special treat for us because the car will not be on sale in the U.S. until the summer of 2010 as a 2011 model. You are getting a sneak peak into the future courtesy of Ford.

Since the North American cars are not yet in production, the vehicles featured in the "Fiesta Movement" are actually built at Ford's Cologne, Germany facility. While the representatives cannot get into specifics of American vehicles and how they'll be equipped, you can get a sense of what we are going to get.

This is an initial report, rushed out the door so that you will have plenty of time to check out the Fiesta for yourself. I will post a more detailed report later on in the weekend. For now all you need to know is 19th and Harrison. Keep in mind that it is Carnavale so you will have to park a few blocks away from the event. Ford reps are on hand from approximately 10AM to 5PM on both Saturday and Sunday. The Fiesta team will also be roaming around various locations of SF on Monday before heading to Los Angeles.
