Automotive News Headlines

Here are the headlines from next week's copy of Automotive News.

Worst November Ever. Well, not really. It was the worst November since 1998 with only 1,165,814 deliveries.

General Motors has canceled an extensive re-engineering of the Chevrolet TrailBlazer and GMC Envoy for mid-2007. Look for the models to show in 2008.

The next-generation Skyline GT-R will be sold as an Infiniti in the United States as per inside informants. There had been some discussion that the Skyline would be sold as a Nissan.

Nissan may offer a diesel engine in its Titan pickup. Toyota Motor is studying diesels for its large pickups and SUVs. Honda is also rumored to be investigating diesels for its larger vehicles.

Mercedes G Class had been rumored to die. Well, the rumors were wrong as news leaked out a few weeks ago that the G was staying on. Now the premium SUV is slated for a face-lift next year.

Those are just some of the stories that will be breaking this week.
