2007 VW Touareg Snowy Sneak Peak
Here's the revamped Touareg caught testing in sunny Scandinavia. New front and rear clips and the promise of a new instrument panel. I've thrown in a pic of the current model for your review.
In Touareg engine news, production of the 3.2L V6 stopped in week 50 of 2005 (December), and the 3.6L, 280HP V6 takes it's place as a 2007. The 2007 4.2L, 340HP V8 starts production week 22 of 2006, replacing the 4.2L 310HP version.
Most important in my mind has to be the squashing of all the bugs and quality gremlins in this model. The Touareg has the goods, it just can't keep it together over the course a normal ownership.
Check out the the car connection story here and the engine story here.
