Ford Delays Launch of Super Duty Pickups
Initially Ford's new Super Duty pickups were scheduled to debut early in the fourth quarter as part of the auto maker's 2007 model-year lineup but now Ford has moved the launch to January. Why the rollback? According to some unnamed sources the reason for the delay is to fine tune the new Power Stroke engine from International/Navistar. Let's hop into the wayback machine and take a look at the disaster that Ford had back in 2002 when it launched a redesigned diesel. It's easy to understand why the company is anxious to get this launch right.
