AMG Challenge
Mercedes has sent out promotional e-mails for their 2006 AMG Challenge. There are four locations for the AMG Challenge (LA, Chicago, Miami, NY) and three for the AMG Graduate (LA, Miami, NY). I guess I'm the last to receive these invites, because the Los Angeles event has already been held.
You have to pony up $1,195 for the Challenge and $1,595 for the Graduate. The Graduate program is for folks who have participated in the AMG Challenge or attended a professional driving school. Accommodations are on your own. Click here to check out the AMG Challenge website (if you are prompted for a code, use AMG999).
Most of the driving schools held by manufacturers are going to cover the same topics. I think it all comes down to the quality of instructors and the setting for the lessons. Personally, I think I’d make the trek to Maserati’s driving school.
