Ford Seeing a Fusion Between Cereal and Product Awareness

You've seen countless Fusions offered as prizes and now there is a new angle: cereal boxes. Ford is stuffing 600,000 model Fusions into boxes of Fruit Loops, Apple Jacks, Frosted Flakes and Cocoa Krispies. There will be one "golden ticket" of sorts, a red model Fusion with a Target logo will yield an actual Fusion. I know how much I stare at cereal boxes at the breakfast table, so it might not be a bad idea. However, I'm not sure they chose the right cereals to stuff the cars into.
In an ever competitive environment, any approach to get eyeballs on your product is fair game. A Google news search already yields 194 news stories about the promotion, so the payback has already begun.

Update: I should add that the specially marked boxes will only be available at Target stores (hence the Target logo on the winning car).
