Astra to Receive Upgrades Before USA Debut?


AutoExpress has photos of an Astra that in addition to a getting a few minor exterior styling tweaks is testing an independent rear suspension. This new suspension setup would replace the current, not exactly class leading, semi-independent arrangement and would allow the Astra to better compete against its rival the Golf. AE pegs the arrival of the refreshed model for spring 2007 which would handily fit into the time frame for the Astra to slide into the Saturn lineup later on in 2007.
