Dodge Avenger "Concept" vs. 2007 Chrysler Sebring Sedan

In a reversal of fortune from the 300C vs. Charger, this time it appears that Dodge scored the prettier sister. In darker colors the Sebring is a bit more tolerable, but not by much.

Neither of these cars breaks out with any radical styling and that is a bit of a disappointment. Given that the 300C and Magnum really had tongues wagging when then first debuted, I was hoping for something a bit more revolutionary than these two milquetoast entries.

With high inventories of models save for a few bright spots such at the Caliber, Chrysler does need a shot of styling B12 to give it a boost. I'm a big fan of the Nitro, the new Wrangler stays true to its heritage in a good way and the forthcoming Challenger is a looker as well. The 300C, Magnum and Charger should be due for an interior refresh soon and of course there will be a new minivan shortly. I'm also keen to see what the new B-Segment entry will look like, that is once Chrysler settles on a partner manufacturer for that project.
