Pontiac G8

Some folks are saying that the hood scoops go a bit far. Perhaps there will be smooth hoods for other versions of the car? Of course Pontiac has painful memories of the GTO which was busted for a lack of aggression and the eventual addition of hood scoops to "butch up" the appearance of the car. It would seem that Pontiac can't win when it comes to hood nostrils. I personally think that the scoops are a bit much in this case. You could make the argument that they belonged on the the GTO, but the G8 would seem to cater to a different clientele. In any case this car is a big LEAP for the brand and I applaud its arrival.

That sexy, two tone, leather wrapped dash is show material only. The production interior color scheme will be more somber. However, GT models will have an optional two-tone cloth or leather combination that pairs black with red or blue inserts and color-matched instrument faces on certain exterior color combinations--not unlike the GTO.
