Scion Dealer’s Freudian Slip?
File this under the “I wish” department. Local dealer Scion 101 is trying to pitch the new xB, but has mistakenly? swapped out the picture of our XXL model for the much better looking Daihatsu Materia.
I’m not sure how Scion missed the boat on this one, but the new xB is a porker. Sure it may make it more practical, but in the process it loses its edge. It’s like seeing your favorite hair band from the ‘80s all fat and bald. Almost to a person, everyone I’ve spoken with or read agrees that our xB has gone mainstream in a bad way. We have enough “relaxed fit” vehicles out there already!
I think Scion 101 has the right idea: BRING BACK THE TRUE HEIR TO THE THE xB LEGACY!
