Happy Birthday ACATT

Hard to believe, but it's ACATT's birthday. Born back in 2005, the first post was about the Toyota Yaris debuting at SEMA. Fast forward to 2007 and Toyota is showing off the new Corolla and Matrix.

It has been a tremendous amount of fun writing about cars, a subject that I have enjoyed for pretty much my entire life. I have to take this moment to give a few shouts out to those who have been so helpful:

Firstly, to my wife Gail who has been very patient with me. I've dragged this woman all over the world to tour auto manufacturing plants, car dealers and auto shows. She's rarely complained and always has been supportive, even when I bring home a new auto loan.

I'd also like to thank my co-worker Joe who has provided his technical expertise and support since day one. Without his initial encouragement I don't know that I would have started this blog in the first place.

Thanks also to other blogs out there who have linked to my blog, either as a sidebar link to the site or a direct link to a particular story. I am truly honored to be considered "link worthy."

Many thanks also to all the auto manufacturers without whom I would have nothing to talk about. In particular, "respect" out to General Motors for all of its efforts to work with bloggers. It is much appreciated.

A big shout out to Jeremy Barnes over at Mazda PR. Jeremy has amazingly picked up the phone every time that I have called him.

A round of applause for Gayle Weiswasser and her crew at McGinn MS&L for inviting me to some great social media events.

Last, but certainly not least, a standing ovation to all my loyal readers out there. You know who you are! You've stuck by me through thick and thin and I really appreciate it.

Cheers!
