$1 a Gallon Gas. How Long Would You Wait In Line?

A line formed over a mile long in East Haven, Connecticut for a radio station promo where gas was priced at .99 cents a gallon for two hours. The folks in the front of the line arrived at 10:30PM and waited until 6AM for a shot at filling their tanks. One pickup truck owner pumped 34 gallons and netted a $102 savings. Looking at the video footage, I didn’t see any motor homes or boats in tow, but that would have been classic. How long would you wait in your car for a $100?

You can check out the video here.
