USPS Gives Stamp of Approval to More Classic Car Stamps

On October 3 of this year, the Post Office will release the second issuance in the America on the Move commemorative stamps series: 50s Fins and Chrome. The first issuance was titled 50s SPORTY CARS and was released back in 2005 when stamps were 37 cents. Three years later, and now 42 cents, the ’57 Chrysler 300C, ’57 Lincoln Premiere, ’57 Pontiac Safari, ’57 Studebaker Golden Hawk and a ’59 Cadillac Eldorado will roll out into the many branches of the USPS.

Don't forget that stamps go up from 41 cents to 42 cents on Monday, May 12. If you've got "forever stamps" then you are all set, but if your stamp has 41 cents printed on it then you've either got to mail out all those thank you cards you've been meaning to write or pick up some 1 cent stamps.
