Win a Dodge Journey (5/31/2008)

Chrysler's "replacement" for its short wheelbase minivans. The Journey does have a lot of clever features built into it. It is unfortunate that interior plastics on this model aren't quite up to snuff. In any case, who is going to turn down a free one? Click here to enter.

On a side note, Dave Thomas from Cars.com and I got into a discussion about whether or not the Journey had an occupant sensor for the front passenger seat. Below is Chrysler's official answer:

Occupant Classification Sensors are not equipped on Dodge Journey's front-passenger seating systems. Dodge Journey offers an adult or child in the front-seat passenger seat equal protection, to an air bag system with OCS. Dodge Journey employs Low-Risk Deployment Air Bags that are engineered to be "softer" via unique shaping, folding, venting and advanced inflators. Dodge Journey also utilizes front-passenger seat position sensors to adjust air bag deployment for passengers seated at different positions on the seat track. (Dodge Journey also received a government 5-star front- and side-crash test rating)
