Fiat to start Alfa Romeo production in U.S. by 2011 - CEO - Forbes.com
I really can't wait to see new Alfa's back on the streets of my hometown. Of course, first we'll see the beautiful, but oh so expensive Alfa 8C Competizione. However, I'm far more interested in Alfa's affordable line of cars. Building vehicles in North America means lower costs given the exchange rate--hopefully that means more accessible sticker prices. Provided all the same materials are used, then the Italian charm shouldn't be lost. It seems as if Alfa's on again off again plans are finally materializing into something more concrete. Love it!
