So how long will it take for us to get this one? The U.S. has always seemingly gotten the new Golf last, but perhaps our delay will only be a year on this generation. I've placed a photo of the new Scirocco at the bottom so that you can spot its influence on the new Golf. This model is important to VW because it should bring the cost of production. How will they do that? Hopefully through money saving tricks that are not perceivable to the customer. I'd hate to see cheaper materials or less sophisticated hardware just to save a buck or two.
