2010 Ford Fusion

In this market the Fusion is going to have to perform hand to hand combat for every sale it rings up. The rental Fusions that I've driven have been impressive (if you forgive the rear view mirror falling off). The 2010 refresh is crisp, the powertrain is improved and the interior has more gadgets. I didn't take any photos of the Fusion Sport's interior, so I've included some stock photography from Ford. The Fusion isn't a slam dunk, but it is a solid entry. If Ford happens to give you a smokin' deal on one, all the better.

Accurate analysis. It's not that the Fusion is a bad car. But at comparable prices, other cars are better. That's not to say people shouldn't buy it, especially the new and improved model, but that a great deal is the only deal worth considering.
